Lead Designer
After graduating from UCLA, Los Angeles was a logical choice for beginning her design career, and in 2006, April Hocking joined the team at Viscusi Elson Interior Design. As a lead designer, April works on the conceptual designs and construction documents for residential projects. She selects the color palette, furnishings, fabrics, decorative items, finishes and materials. As project manager, it is her responsibility to make sure that the firm’s designs are implemented correctly and that everyone stays on task. She loves the mix of being creative and managing a project, seeing the beauty in the details of the construction.
April enjoys traveling the world to experience new ideas, cultures, designs and other ways of living.
